Bill and Barb Kendall recently donated $2,000 to VFW Post 9599 for ongoing expenses.

The VFW post, located on the east side of the courthouse square in Jefferson, is a welcome place for veterans. It is open most weekday mornings. According to Ihnken, “If the light is on, so’s the coffee pot, so come in and say ‘hello’.”
